The Compounding Pharmacy Inside My Doctors Medical Clinic
We opened on Surfers Paradise Boulevarde in 2022 with one idea: that a pharmacy should be able to make the medicine a patient actually needs, not just hand over the closest thing on the shelf.
Our Story
Paradise Compounding Pharmacy opened in 2022 inside My Doctors Medical Clinic at Piazza 16, 3221 Surfers Paradise Boulevarde. The location was deliberate. Patients were finishing a GP appointment and then driving somewhere else to fill the script, and a good proportion of those scripts were for things a standard chemist could not make.
So we built a compounding room on site. Since then we have prepared medicines for children who cannot swallow tablets, for cats and dogs whose owners were losing the daily battle, for patients whose skin reacts to something in the commercial cream, and for people whose long standing medicine was simply discontinued.
In 2026 we were approved as a PBS pharmacy, which closed the last gap. You can now bring us a PBS script, a private script and a compounded formula in the same visit and walk out with all three.

The pharmacy opens
Paradise Compounding Pharmacy opens inside My Doctors Medical Clinic on Surfers Paradise Boulevarde, giving patients a pharmacy and a GP in the same building.
The compounding room
We build out compounding on site so preparations are made in the pharmacy rather than sent away, and start taking prescriptions from vets and specialists across the Gold Coast.
Australia wide dispatch
We partner with Aramex so patients outside the Gold Coast can have compounded medicines and repeats couriered to their door.
PBS approval
Paradise Compounding Pharmacy is approved as a PBS pharmacy. PBS, private and compounded prescriptions can now all be filled in one place.
Registered pharmacist, six years and counting. Leads the compounding team.

Khalid opened Paradise Compounding Pharmacy in 2022 and still works behind the counter. He has been a registered pharmacist for more than six years, and he is the person most likely to pick up the phone when a doctor calls to talk through a formula.
The team he has built runs on the same principle. Nobody here is measured on how fast a script goes out the door. If something about your medicine does not add up, we would rather stop and call your prescriber.

A medicine you do not understand is a medicine you will not take correctly. We would rather spend the five minutes.
Price before you commit
You are told what something costs before we dispense or compound it. Nobody should get a surprise at the counter.
Honest answers
If a supplement is not worth taking alongside your prescription, or a preparation is not the right call, we will say so.

Who We Look After on the Gold Coast
Our regulars are people who live and work in Surfers Paradise, plus patients who travel in because their compounded medicine is not made anywhere closer. On any given week that means scripts from Southport, Main Beach, Chevron Island, Isle of Capri, Broadbeach, Bundall, Benowa, Ashmore and Labrador.
Because we sit on Surfers Paradise Boulevarde a short walk from Cavill Avenue and the light rail, we also see a lot of people who work in the precinct and want a chemist they can reach on a lunch break. And through our courier partner Aramex we send compounded medicines to patients right across Australia.
Wherever you are, the process is the same. Send us the prescription, we will confirm the details and the price, and you collect it or we post it.
